We’ve been motoring advice from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) over the past weeks. Given the current situation we’ve taken the decision to delay the conference. UXPA International will now run between August 31 and September 03 in Baltimore, MD.
Pre-conference courses will be held on Monday August 31 2020.
The main conference will be from September 01 – 03 2020.
We’ve answered several commonly asked questions below:
Conference registration
Q: Do I need to purchase a new registration if I have one for June?
A: No, we will transfer your registration to the new date, you are all set!
Q: Is the conference still in the same location?
A: Yes, still in Baltimore, MD at the Renaissance Hotel.
Q: I don’t know if I can attend the conference until nearer the time.
A: We understand that you may not be in a position to purchase your tickets right now. Tickets are available right up until the conference, providing we haven’t sold out.
Q: What if travel restrictions are still in place in August?
A: We will continue to monitor World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Center for Disease Control (CDC) advice over the coming months. You can rest assured that if we have to cancel the event due to travel restrictions your registration will be refunded. We’re also exploring ways to hold the conference digitally.
I can’t attend the new dates
Q: I can’t attend the new date, can I get a refund?
A: Yes, please email office@uxpa.org
Q: Do I have to cancel pre-conference courses separately?
A: No, once you cancel your registration, everything you signed up for is canceled.
Q: Will I be charged a cancellation fee for my conference registration?
A: If the reason for cancelation is WHO or CDC advisories, government or employer restrictions you will not be charged a cancelation fee providing supporting evidence is supplied.
Hotel Reservation
Q: How do I cancel my hotel reservation?
A: All hotel reservations booked through the conference website will be cancelled automatically. No action on your part is required. If you booked through your own travel provider or arranged accommodation at a different location you will be required to contact your booking agent to cancel the reservation.
Q. Do I need to rebook my hotel reservation?
Yes, you will need to rebook for the new dates. Our special discounted rate is still available. We’ll be making the new link to book available soon.
