Discover Baltimore
Baltimore has a fantastic food scene! Check out Max’s Rap House which has over a hundred beers, Alexander’s for great pizza and tots, or Sagamore Spirits for fine dining and a distillery tour (which lasts about half an hour). If you’re staying in Baltimore before or after the conference, Phillips does a Sunday brunch buffet with all the usuals plus seafood! On Tuesday night, registered attendees can also enjoy the opening night reception at the Baltimore Aquarium.
Book your hotel
There’s still time to book a room at the conference hotel – The Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace. It’s the perfect spot for a walk along the harbor in the morning, or if fancy a bite to eat in the evening. You can even get back to the hotel by scooter!
Visit Washington DC!
If you’d like to make the most of your trip to the east coast, why not spend the weekend in the country’s capital? DC is an hour from Baltimore by car, and 45 minutes by train. Arrive in time for the Smithsonian Folklife Festival or explore the capital’s historic landmarks.
We’re looking forward to seeing you!
